It rained today.

Day 138 (Friday, May 17)

Well, all of our hard work came to fruition tonight. The 2nd Annual Harvie Awards banquet was a success. If you couldn’t tell by this, the theme was masquerade.

Day 136 (Wednesday, May 15)

Didn’t do much today except work on banquet decorations. Decided to pull out my fisheye adapter for this one.

Day 132 (Saturday, May 11)

Once again, my singing of the national anthem had been requested. This time, for graduation. Afterward, Mom and I went straight to Chad and Jessica’s annual Broadway dinner theatre hosted by their church. Here we have Chad serenading his mother with “Mama, A Rainbow”.

Day 130 (Thursday, May 9)

Had our musical theatre final today which was a mock audition. Afterward, the choir went out to lunch. Finally, tonight the dance classes had their recital entitled “Love Your Dance”. I had the privilege of being the photographer for the performance.

Day 129 (Wednesday, May 8)

Final recital of the year. Also, had to give a presentation on why the arts should be kept in schools. It caused quite a stir, which is exactly what I had hoped to achieve. I also had the pleasure of taking headshots for my good friend Conner here.

Day 128 (Tuesday, May 7)

Student Showcase today. Went well, in my opinion. The Les Mis medley definitely outshined everything else.

Day 124 (Friday, May 3)

Huh, a day off. I’ve come to cherish these days when they come. I used today to snap for “Pikachu In the World” since it was such a gorgeous day outside.

Day 121 (Tuesday, April 30)

It’s like I have nothing to do now that Hairspray’s done. Ironic. There’s still a ton of stuff that I have to do for this semester, yet I feel as if it’s not enough to match the workload of Hairspray. With barely any motivation, I decided to go outside and snap photos. Pikachu became my subject for a mini project called “Pikachu In the World”, which is essentially photos of Pikachu figures taken at magic hour and at a focal length of precisely 18mm.

Day 120 (Monday, April 29)

Alana and Lindsey were given gifts made with glitter, LOTS OF GLITTER. Knowing this, I decided to use the glitter for today’s photo. By turning off all the lights and snapping the glitter on the floor while using the flash, the reflective properties of the glitter caused them to look like stars in the night sky. Pretty.
